Job summary

AWP Safety in the United States is hiring Protectors to work with a team at job sites. No experience or degree is required, and safety comes first. Training is provided, and we support you in building a career.

Daily duties include setting up cones, signs, and barricades, guiding traffic with a stop/slow paddle, and communicating with your crew. You may work nights or weekends and stand or walk long hours. We supply gear such as hard hats and vests; you bring steel-toe boots.

Qualifications

• No experience or degree required.
• Must pass pre-hire screening including a drug test.
• Able to lift 40–50 pounds.
• Able to stand and walk outside for long periods.
• Flexible schedule; Show up on time, every shift.

Responsibilities

• Set up cones, signs, and barricades and take traffic control equipment down.
• Use stop/slow paddle to guide traffic and monitor site activity.
• Follow all safety rules taught in training.
• Communicate with crew and supervisor.
• Help keep vehicles and equipment clean and safe.
• Work outside all year, in all weather.
• Shifts may include nights, weekends, or emergency work.
