Job summary

Barry Isett & Associates (Isett) is seeking a Project Manager in Transportation to lead and mentor a team of transportation engineers on municipal, school district, and private-sector projects across the Northeast PA region.

You will manage a full range of transportation services, including traffic impact studies, safety audits, signal retiming and design, traffic-calming, school-zone design, and PennDOT HOP permitting, while strengthening client relationships and delivering high-quality results.

Qualifications

• B.S. Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Synchro & HCS Experience.
• Technical knowledge and/or previous experience in areas such as equipment selection, and cost estimating

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor transportation engineers, manage a variety of transportation projects, and build trusted relationships with municipal, institutional, and private-sector clients.
• Deliver a full range of transportation services for municipalities, school districts, and private-sector clients.
• Coordinate Traffic Impact Studies, Safety Studies & Audits, and Traffic Signal design/retiming.
• Develop traffic-calming, school-zone, and intersection design solutions.
• Manage PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permitting (HOP) processes.
