Job summary

WSP USA, based in Jersey City, NJ, seeks a Transportation Analyst to support traffic operation services for PA-TMC for the Port Authority New York-New Jersey. This role requires monitoring real-time conditions, coordinating with multiple agencies, and maintaining situational awareness through CCTV and VDS.

Qualifications

Background in traffic operations.
3+ years of relevant experience.
Must complete IMSA/ICS courses within 180 days of hiring.
High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

Monitor and disseminate information on traffic conditions and incidents.
Coordinate with NYCDOT, NYSDOT, MTA, NJDOT and other agencies.
Monitor CCTV and vehicle detection systems.
Monitor planned events and traffic data in real time.
Generate incident reports and real-time entries into mapping apps.
Ensure accurate transfer of information to subsequent shifts.
