Job summary

Consor is seeking a Transportation Engineer to support a wide range of projects, including ITS, connected vehicle technologies, traffic signal design, signing and striping, traffic modeling, timing, and safety analyses under the guidance of licensed engineers.

You will contribute to design development, plan production, technical analyses, and reporting, while collaborating with team members in a hybrid office/field setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain shortly after hire.
• 0–4+ years of transportation engineering experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Model and analyze transportation systems and traffic operations.
• Collect and process data for traffic studies.
• Support the development of traffic, ITS design packages for transportation projects.
• Prepare CADD designs and assist with plan production.
• Develop project specifications and cost estimates.
• Perform engineering calculations and technical analyses.
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports and documentation.
• Follow internal quality control procedures to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with team members and maintain strong working relationships.
• Work under the direction and mentorship of a licensed PE.
