Job summary

The State Highway Administration invites applications for an Office Manager (Transportation Engineering Technician III) in District 4 (Baltimore County). The position supports the Traffic Engineering Division’s office operations, coordinating with ADE-Ts and team leaders to prepare correspondence and manage workflow across multiple channels.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, three years of engineering-related experience, and 1.5 years in office work.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or GED.
• Three years of experience in technical engineering related work.
• One and a half (1 ½) years of experience in office work.
• Notes: substitutions of education for experience allowed per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and technical support to the District 4 Traffic Engineering Division.
• Manage office operations and develop workflow processes in coordination with ADE-Ts and team leaders.
• Prepare citizen correspondence, responses to customer complaints, and administrator correspondence.
• Respond to inquiries from officials, local government, community groups, and the public.
