Fishbeck is seeking a Traffic Engineer in Michigan to join the Transportation Department. You will support and lead traffic engineering projects, including studies, modeling, forecasting, signal operations, and client coordination.

Responsibilities include preparing studies, modeling traffic, developing MOT plans, and writing reports while collaborating with MDOT, local agencies, and partners. The role offers hybrid and flexible schedules and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of traffic engineering experience.
• Familiarity with MDOT traffic standards preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare traffic impact studies, safety studies, signal optimization analyses, and traffic forecasts.
• Perform intersection and roadway traffic modeling.
• Develop maintenance of traffic plans using traffic data.
• Write reports and support traffic signal design and operations.
• Interact with clients and coordinating agencies.
