Fishbeck is seeking a Traffic Engineer to join our Transportation Department and lead traffic projects. You will conduct studies, modeling, forecasts, and maintenance of traffic plans, while coordinating with MDOT, local agencies, and partners.

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering and 2+ years of experience, with proficiency in traffic software such as HCS, Synchro, and Vissim. Hybrid and flexible schedules are available across Michigan offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• 2+ years of traffic engineering experience.
• Experience with traffic studies and ITE Trip Generation.
• Knowledge of MDOT standards preferred.
• Proficiency with traffic modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare traffic impact and safety studies, forecasts.
• Model intersections and roadways.
• Develop maintenance of traffic plans.
• Write reports and assist signal design.
• Coordinate with MDOT, agencies, and partners.
• Support budgets, schedules, and proposals.
