Job summary

Traffic Management LLC is hiring a Flagger/Traffic Controller to ensure road safety around work zones. You will learn to close roads with cones and barricades, perform two-way flagging, and help manage traffic flow.

Responsibilities include loading equipment, delivering barricades and signs, and completing reports. Candidates must have a valid license, stand for long hours, and be able to work outdoors in all weather. On-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with at least 2 years of driving history.
• Clean motor vehicle record and reliable transportation to work sites.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and stand for long periods.
• Must pass drug test including THC testing and be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Ensure road safety by setting up cones and barricades and directing traffic with stop/slow signs.
• Perform two-way flagging to allow safe passage through work zones.
• Load trucks and deliver/pick up barricades, signs, and traffic control equipment.
• Complete reports and other duties as assigned.

As a Flagger/Traffic Controller you are responsible for various road closures and the safety of those passing by. In this job, you will learn how to close off a road using cones/ barricades and be responsible for two-way flagging. Two-way flagging is using a stop & slow sign to allow the traffic to know when they can pass work zones safely. You will also be responsible for loading trucks and delivering/Picking-up barricades, signs & Traffic Control equipment and complete reports and other duties as necessary.Requirements:Must have a valid driver’s license for 2 Years and a clear motor vehicle record.Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.This role requires the ability to work with no fixed schedule and variable hours. Must be available during business hours and able to work nights/ weekends when on-call schedule.Able to lift 50lbs and stand on your feet for 6-12 hours per day.Decent Communication Skills? English proficiency required for safety coordination.Must be able to pass drug test that does include THC marijuana testing.Must be able to work independently and in a team.Reliable transportation to and from the work location is required.Must be at least 18 years of age or older
