Job summary

Infrastructure Traffic Services is seeking a dedicated Flagger/Traffic Controller in the United States to support road closures and traffic safety. You will learn to set up traffic control zones, operate cones and barricades, and perform two-way flagging to keep work zones safe and efficient.

Starting hourly pay ranges from $19.29 to $25.00, with opportunities for increases and promotions. We offer medical/dental/vision, a 401(k) with employer match, and comprehensive training to advance quickly.

Qualifications

• MUTCD knowledge required.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English with customers, coworkers and the public.
• Basic math skills and reliability in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure road closures are set up safely using cones, barricades and signs.
• Perform two-way flagging with stop/slow signals to guide traffic through work zones.
• Load and unload barricades, signs and traffic control gear and complete reports as needed.

As a Flagger/Traffic Controller you are responsible for various road closures and the safety of those passing by. In this job, you will learn how to close off a road using cones/ barricades and be responsible for two-way flagging. Two-way flagging is using a stop & slow sign to allow the traffic to know when they can pass work zones safely.
