Traffic Management, LLC is hiring Flaggers/Traffic Controllers at their Grand Rapids Branch - Comstock Park, MI. This role involves ensuring safety during road closures and managing traffic flow by directing vehicles using signals.

The job requires good communication and the ability to work outside under various conditions. A valid driver's license and clear driving record are necessary. Salary ranges from $19.50 to $22.00 an hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license for 3 years and a clear motor vehicle record.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must be available during business hours and able to work nights/weekends.
• Good communication skills; English proficiency required.
• Must be able to pass drug test including THC marijuana testing.
• Must be able to work independently and in a team.
• Reliable transportation to and from the work location is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for various road closures and the safety of passersby.
• Learn how to close off a road using cones/barricades.
• Perform two-way flagging to manage traffic safely.
• Load trucks and manage traffic control equipment.
• Complete reports and other necessary duties.

Responsibilities

Safety is our business! As a Flagger/Traffic Controller you are responsible for various road closures and the safety of those passing by. In this job, you will learn how to close off a road using cones/barricades and be responsible for two-way flagging. Two-way flagging is using a stop & slow sign to allow the traffic to know when they can pass work zones safely. You will also be responsible for loading trucks and delivering/picking-up barricades, signs & traffic control equipment and complete reports and other duties as necessary.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license for 3 years and a clear motor vehicle record.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must be available during business hours and able to work nights/weekends when on-call schedule.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand on your feet for 6-12 hours per day.
• Good communication skills; English proficiency required for safety coordination.
• Must be able to pass drug test that includes THC marijuana testing.
• Must be able to work independently and in a team.
• Reliable transportation to and from the work location is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
