Job summary

You will transport materials, assemble safety equipment, and collaborate with crews to maintain efficient traffic flow during projects. The role requires 1–3 years of traffic control experience, a valid driver’s license, and DOT/regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver's license.
• 1–3 years of traffic control experience.
• 2,000 field hours in traffic control.
• Must pass background and motor vehicle records checks.
• DOT requirements and drug test clearance.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• ATSSA TCT intermediate training completed.
• Willingness to travel statewide with overnight stays.
• Able to work nights and weekends as required.
• Wear PPE and safety gear.
• Read and interpret traffic control plans and signage.

Responsibilities

• Set up and take down lane closures on state highways and roadways.
• Direct traffic around work zones and ensure worker safety.
• Operate MOT and TMA vehicles to protect crews.
• Place and position traffic signs, cones, and boards.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safety compliance.
• Assist with loading/unloading safety materials at sites.
• Follow company safety rules and procedures.
