Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems in Humble, TX is seeking a Traffic Control Technician II to set up and take down lane closures on state highways, redirect traffic for crews, and operate safety equipment. This non-exempt, full-time position requires a valid driver's license, 1–3 years in traffic control and 2,000 field hours, plus ability to travel statewide and pass DOT drug tests.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License.
• 1–3 years of traffic control experience.
• 2,000 field hours in traffic control.
• Must pass background check and DOT drug test.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks to transport materials to job sites.
• Drive MOT (Management of Traffic) and TMA vehicles on projects and work sites.
• Place and maintain traffic control signs, cones, and devices.
• Monitor the work zone for safety and proper setup of controls.
• Load and unload traffic control items at shift start/end.
• Follow all safety rules and comply with company policies.
