Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is the leading national provider of traffic safety products and services. The Flagger 2 role directs traffic around construction sites, sets up signs and barricades, and communicates with drivers and team members to maintain safety.

Candidates must be able to work outdoors, stand for long periods, pass background and DOT tests, and be willing to travel statewide. A valid driver’s license and ATSSA Flagger training are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Pass a background check including motor vehicle records.
• Pass a drug test and meet federal DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and take down traffic control signs, cones, and barricades.
• Direct traffic using hand signals and stop/slow paddles.
• Communicate with team via two-way radios.
• Stand and walk for extended periods outdoors in various weather.
• Operate company vehicles and transport traffic control equipment to job sites.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
