The Traffic Control Flagger II role directs traffic around work zones and ensures safety by setting up and removing signs, cones, and barricades while coordinating with motorists and crew.

Ideal candidates will have a valid driver's license, pass DOT background and drug tests, be able to travel statewide, wear required safety gear, and

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check, including motor vehicle records check.
• Must successfully pass a drug test and meet federal DOT requirements.
• Wear proper safety equipment (work boots with safety toe, hard hat, safety glasses, and safety vest).
• Willingness to travel statewide, with occasional overnight stays, and ability to work nights and weekends as required by projects.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic flow around construction sites and work zones.
• Set up and take down traffic control signs, cones, and barricades.
• Communicate with motorists using signals and signs.
• Stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Transport equipment to and from job sites and perform vehicle inspections.
