Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must pass a background check including motor vehicle records.
• Must pass a drug test and meet federal DOT requirements.
• Wear safety equipment (boots with safety toe, hard hat, safety glasses, safety vest).
• Able to work outdoors in various weather and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to travel statewide with occasional overnight stays; nights and weekends as required.
• Rotating on-call schedule may be required.

Responsibilities

• Set up signs, cones, and other traffic control devices to divert traffic around work areas.
• Direct traffic flow using stop/slow paddles and communicate with motorists.
• Maintain clear communication with contractors and team members via two-way radios.
• Stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Drive company vehicles to transport traffic control equipment to and from job sites.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety rules.
• Support safety initiatives and participate in training as required.
