RoadSafe Traffic Systems, Inc. is seeking a Traffic Control Flagger II in North Charleston, SC. You will direct traffic around work zones, set up signs and barricades, and communicate with drivers to ensure safety for workers and the public. Training is provided and safety gear is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check, including motor vehicle records check.
• Must successfully pass a drug test and meet federal DOT requirements.
• ATSSA Flagger training completed or obtained.
• Company-sponsored Defensive Driver training completed or obtained.
• Willingness to travel statewide, with possible overnight stays.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as required by projects.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic flow around construction sites and work zones.
• Set up and take down traffic control signs, cones, and barricades.
• Communicate with motorists using hand signals and signs.
• Stand for long periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Operate 2-way radios and coordinate with team members.
• Keep equipment and vehicles in good working condition.
