Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems, Inc. is seeking a Traffic Control Supervisor II in North Charleston, SC. You will oversee traffic control operations, manage crews, and ensure safety regulations are followed across state roadways.

Responsibilities include setting up lane closures, directing workers, and transporting equipment to sites. The role requires ATSSA certification, a high school diploma, and 3–4 years of experience. Travel statewide is expected; nights/weekends and on-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record.
• Minimum of 3–4 years (6,000+ hours) of traffic control experience.
• ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor certification required.
• Must complete ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor advanced training.
• Proven experience setting up traffic control operations on state/local roadways.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily traffic control crews, including technicians and flaggers.
• Set up, monitor, and remove temporary traffic control devices and lane closures.
• Transport equipment and safety products to and from job sites.
• Ensure safety protocols, PPE, and company policies are followed.
• Provide toolbox talks and safety training to crew members.
• Complete timesheets, tickets, and job documentation accurately.
