RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Traffic Control Flagger II in Savannah, GA. The role directs traffic around construction sites, sets up signs and barricades, and communicates with motorists and crews to ensure safety. Requires outdoor work, endurance, and the ability to travel statewide for projects.

The position is non-exempt with rotating shifts, weekend work as needed, and training requirements including ATSSA Flagger and Defensive Driver courses. Competitive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check including MVR
• Must pass a drug test and meet federal DOT requirements
• Wear safety equipment (boots, hard hat, safety glasses, vest)
• Able to work outdoors in varied weather
• Able to stand for extended periods
• Willingness to travel statewide with possible overnight stays
• Willingness to work nights and weekends as required
• Rotating on-call schedule

Responsibilities

• Set up signs, cones, and traffic control devices around work areas to divert traffic
• Effectively manage traffic flow with stop/slow paddles
• Maintain clear communication with team via two-way radios
• Stand and walk for long periods, reach with hands/arms up to 10 hours a day
• Drive company vehicles to transport traffic control equipment to job sites
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
