Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems, Inc. is seeking a Traffic Control Flagger II to direct traffic around construction and maintenance zones. The role involves setting up traffic control devices, maintaining safe flow, and coordinating with team members to ensure public and worker safety.

You must be able to work outdoors in varying weather and stand for long periods while using radios to communicate. Qualified candidates will have a valid driver's license, pass background and drug tests, and complete

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• Background check including motor vehicle records.
• Must pass a drug test and meet federal DOT requirements.
• Completion of ATSSA Flagger training.
• Completion of Defensive Driver training.
• Willingness to travel statewide and work nights/weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Set up signs, cones, and traffic control devices around work areas to divert traffic.
• Effectively manage traffic flow with stop/slow paddles.
• Communicate with contractors and team members via two-way radios.
• Stand and walk for extended periods, possibly up to 10 hours a day.
• Drive company vehicles to transport traffic control equipment to job sites.
