Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a Protector to join our field crew in Staunton, VA. You’ll help set up traffic control devices, guide vehicles, and maintain safety at outdoor work sites. No prior experience is required as comprehensive training is provided.

The role involves working in various weather conditions, possible night or weekend shifts, and opportunities for advancement. You’ll receive benefits including health insurance and paid time off while developing critical safety skills.

Role Overview

The Protector works with a team at job sites to ensure traffic safety by setting up cones, signs, and barricades, and guiding traffic using stop/slow paddles.

No prior experience or degree is required, as comprehensive training and support are provided.

Key responsibilities include maintaining safety protocols, communicating effectively with crew and supervisors, and keeping equipment clean and secure.

This outdoor role involves working in all weather conditions, often standing or walking for long periods, and may require working nights, weekends, or emergency shifts.

Qualifications & Skills

Additional Information

Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $17.75 per hour, with overtime opportunities and pay increases within the first year.
