Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking an entry-level traffic control worker to support site safety at job sites in Leesport, PA. No prior experience or degree required; training is provided. You will set up cones and signs, direct traffic with a stop/slow paddle, and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Set up and dismantle traffic control devices (cones, signs, barricades).
• Direct traffic with a stop/slow paddle and monitor site activity.
• Follow safety protocols learned during training.
• Communicate effectively with crew and supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of vehicles and equipment.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions, with shifts including nights, weekends, or emergencies.
• Stand or walk 8–12 hours per shift.

Job description

Role Overview
The position involves working as part of a team at job sites to ensure traffic safety, with no prior experience or degree required. Training and support are provided to develop your skills.
Key Responsibilities Include

• Setting up cones, signs, and barricades, and dismantling traffic control equipment
• Using a stop/slow paddle to direct traffic and monitor site activity
• Adhering to all safety protocols learned during training
• Communicating effectively with crew and supervisors
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety of vehicles and equipment
• Working outdoors in various weather conditions, with shifts potentially including nights, weekends, or emergency work
• Standing or walking for 8 to 12 hours per shift
  

Qualifications Include

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to stand, walk, lift 40-50 pounds, and work outside for extended periods
• Willingness to work in traffic and diverse weather conditions
• Flexibility and punctuality
• Pass pre-hire screening, including a drug test
• Respectful treatment of coworkers and the public
  

Compensation ranges from $17.23 to $18.07 per hour, with overtime, pay increases, paid training, and safety certification. Benefits include on-demand pay, PTO, referral bonuses, and opportunities for advancement to senior, lead, field supervisor, or managerial roles.
