Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is hiring a Traffic Safety Protector to work with a team at multiple job sites to ensure traffic control and safety. No prior experience or degree is required, as comprehensive training is provided.

Responsibilities include setting up cones, signs, barricades, and traffic control equipment; directing traffic with stop/slow paddles; maintaining equipment; and communicating with teammates. Shifts may occur nights, weekends, or emergencies, outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift 40–50 pounds.
• Comfort working outside in varying weather.
• Must pass pre-hire screening including drug test.
• Flexible schedule required.

Role Overview

• Working outdoors in all weather conditions, with potential shifts during nights, weekends, or emergencies
• Standing or walking up to 8-12 hours per shift

Qualifications include

a valid driver's license, ability to lift 40-50 pounds, comfort working outside in varying weather, and flexibility in schedule. Candidates must pass a pre-hire screening, including a drug test, and stay alert around moving traffic while respecting coworkers and the public.

Compensation and growth opportunities

offer hourly pay between $17.65 and $19.50, with overtime, pay increases, paid training, and safety certification. Benefits may include on-demand pay, PTO, referral bonuses, and advancement to roles such as Lead Protector, Field Supervisor, or Manager.
