Coastal Elite Pro in Harrisonburg, VA is seeking a Traffic Safety Protector to work with a team at various job sites, ensuring safety and traffic control. No prior experience or degree is required as comprehensive training is provided.

Your duties include setting up cones, signs, barricades, guiding traffic with stop/slow paddles, and maintaining safety protocols. You will receive safety gear and a steel-toe boots requirement, with shifts 8 to 12 hours and occasional night/weekend/emergency

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting 40–50 pounds.
• Willingness to work in traffic and diverse weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule and punctuality.
• Ability to pass pre-hire screening, including a drug test.
• Alertness around moving traffic and adherence to safety rules.
• Respectful treatment of coworkers, clients, and the public.

Role Overview

As a Traffic Safety Protector, you will work with a team at various job sites to ensure safety and traffic control.

No prior experience or degree is required as comprehensive training is provided.

Your main duties include setting up cones, signs, barricades, and traffic control equipment, guiding traffic with stop/slow paddles, and maintaining safety protocols.

You will communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, keep vehicles and equipment clean, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Flexibility for night, weekend, or emergency shifts may be needed, with shifts lasting 8 to 12 hours.

You will be supplied safety gear such as a helmet, goggles, vest, whistle, walkie-talkie, and weather gear, while bringing your own steel-toe boots.
