Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro in Daytona Beach, FL is seeking a Protector to join a field team focused on traffic safety at various job sites.

You will set up and dismantle cones, signs and barricades, guide traffic with stop/slow paddles, and follow all safety protocols while working outdoors in different weather.

Shifts may include nights, weekends or emergency work; expect 8–12 hours of standing or walking per shift.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Able to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting 40–50 pounds.
• Willingness to work in traffic and in varying weather conditions.

Job description

Role and Responsibilities

The Protector works with a team at various job sites to ensure traffic safety.

Responsibilities include setting up and dismantling cones, signs, and barricades; guiding traffic using stop/slow paddles; following all safety protocols; communicating effectively with crew and supervisors; maintaining vehicles and equipment; and working outdoors in different weather conditions.

Shifts may vary and can include nights, weekends, or emergency work. Standing or walking for 8 to 12 hours per shift is expected. The role involves strict adherence to safety rules and alertness around moving traffic.

Qualifications And Skills
