Helix Traffic Solutions, LLC in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Traffic Control Flagger Crew Lead to direct traffic around work zones, supervise a crew of flaggers, and uphold safety and regulatory standards in all weather conditions. Candidates should have 3–6 months of relevant experience, ATSSA Flagger Certification (or company-approved equivalent), and be able to pass probation.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months prior experience as Traffic Control Flagger or Crew Lead.
• ATSSA Flagger Certification (or company-approved equivalent).
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
• Maintain good standing through 60-day probation and pass evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct traffic control crews to ensure safe work zones per plans.
• Train, mentor, and assign crew members for safety and efficiency.
• Oversee installation, maintenance and removal of traffic control devices.
• Monitor zones for hazards, respond to changes, report issues.
• Complete crew activity, equipment usage, and incident documentation.
• Perform Traffic Control Flagger duties as needed.
• Maintain ATSSA certification and related safety trainings.
