Position Summary

We are adding a Traffic Control Supervisor to our team in the Raleigh, NC area! We are actively looking for certified and experienced Traffic Control Supervisors for a variety projects in your area. Ideal candidates will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all traffic control operations for construction and maintenance projects. We're looking for reliable and hard-working individuals that take pride in their work!

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise traffic control crews, flaggers, and pilot vehicle operators on assigned projects
• Oversee proper implementation of traffic management plans on various highway systems, roadways, and local streets
• Conduct routine site inspections to ensure DOT specifications are met
• Ensure all crew members are working safely, and are up to date on all role specific training
• Oversee the safe operation of heavy equipment
• Maintain detailed records of safety incidents, daily operations, and compliance documentation
• Manage the maintenance, setup, and removal of traffic control devices such as cones, barriers, signage, and flagging equipment

Requirements

• NCDOT Work Zone and Flagger Certification
• NCDOT Work Zone Supervisor Certification
• 3+ Years traffic control experience
• Clean driving record and valid drivers license

Preferred

• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in changing field conditions
• Previous experience directing a crew or working in a lead role
• Ability to read and interpret traffic control plans, specifications, and requirements
• Strong communication, leadership, and organization skills
