Job summary

DRW is seeking a production-support engineer for its Global Trade Support team in the United States. You will help ensure maximum trading system availability across multiple asset classes and sites, build automation, and troubleshoot incidents in fast-paced environments.

Requirements include a CS degree, strong Linux/Windows experience, SQL, and familiarity with FIX and trading workflows. A discretionary annual bonus is offered and relocation support may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent required.
• Strong troubleshooting and production-support background.
• Experience with equities trading and FIX protocol preferred.
• SQL skills for basic queries and maintenance.
• Proven ability to work across Linux/Windows environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; on-call rotation readiness.

Responsibilities

• Establish best-in-class production support and deployment processes.
• Maintain high system availability across trading platforms.
• Support cross-asset production systems globally and across locations.
• Develop automation and monitoring tools; leverage third-party tech.
• Troubleshoot incidents from internal and external factors.
• Automate configuration and rollout to reduce manual errors.
• Coordinate with exchanges on trade activity and connectivity.
• Collaborate with traders, DBAs, developers, and infra teams.
• Create documentation for procedures and system architecture.
• Coordinate with global teams to ensure 24x7 support coverage.
