Job summary

DRW in Chicago seeks a Global Trade Support engineer to ensure production stability for proprietary and third-party trading systems across equities, fixed income and crypto assets.

You'll drive best-in-class deployment, monitoring, and incident response in a 24x7 multi-platform environment, collaborating with traders, DBAs, developers, and infrastructure teams worldwide. A BS in CS and strong networking and SQL skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Establish best-in-class production support, ensure efficient software deployment and proactive monitoring.
• Maintain maximum trading system availability to capture opportunities.
• Support production systems across asset classes and locations in a multi-platform environment (Linux and Windows).
• Develop automation and monitoring tools; leverage third-party technologies as appropriate.
• Troubleshoot production incidents from internal systems or market-related factors.
• Automate configuration and rollout procedures to minimize errors and improve change management.
• Coordinate with exchanges regarding trade order activity and connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with traders, DBAs, developers, back office, QA, infrastructure and management teams globally.
• Document procedures, troubleshooting scenarios and system architecture for common tasks.
• Coordinate with other global support teams to ensure 24x7 continuity.
