Job summary

Tamar Securities, LLC is seeking an Investment Operations & Trading Systems Analyst to support trading and investment operations, with a focus on Envestnet Tamarac. The role requires translating trading team objectives into effective system settings, reports, and workflows.

Ideal candidates understand portfolio management, data quality, and can create scalable processes. Experience with Tamarac or comparable wealth management platforms is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with Envestnet Tamarac Trading and Reporting or similar platform.
• Experience configuring investment allocation models and rebalancing rules.
• Background in wealth management, an RIA, asset management, trading operations, portfolio operations, or related investment environment.
• Strong Excel proficiency with multi-account datasets.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate investment data.
• Ability to translate investment objectives into portfolio management system settings.
• Genuine interest in investing and financial markets.

Responsibilities

• Serve as internal resource for Tamarac Trading and Reporting.
• Maintain accurate account, strategy, model, security, and performance data.
• Translate trading and portfolio management objectives into system configurations and rules.
• Collaborate with Head of Trading to reflect investment methodology.
• Create and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports on accounts, households, securities, allocations, transactions, performance.
• Use Excel to organize, analyze, and present investment data.
• Identify and resolve data-quality or system-configuration issues.
• Evaluate Tamarac capabilities and develop workflows or workarounds where needed.
• Document system settings and workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.
