Regency Wealth Management is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Investment Trader & Research Analyst to join our independent Registered Investment Advisory firm. This role combines hands-on trading, rebalancing, and portfolio maintenance with investment research and due diligence. You will work closely with advisors, operations professionals, and firm leadership while helping us deliver an exceptional client experience.

What You’ll Do
- Execute equity, ETF, mutual fund, fixed income, and alternative investment trades through Envestnet Tamarac and custodian platforms.
- Monitor trade activity, resolve exceptions, and coordinate execution across client accounts with accuracy and consistency.
- Implement model changes, rebalance portfolios, and monitor drift, cash needs, and allocation consistency.
- Support tax-aware trading, including tax-loss harvesting and gain management.
- Maintain investment models, monitor corporate actions and restrictions, and support account transitions.
- Research mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs, alternative investments, and individual securities.
- Analyze performance, risk, holdings, expenses, and manager characteristics; prepare due diligence reports and recommendations.
- Contribute market insights, research summaries, and analysis for the investment committee and firm leadership.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- At least two years of experience in investment operations, portfolio administration, trading, or investment research.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, portfolio rebalancing, and trading systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while communicating clearly with colleagues and leadership.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and a strong commitment to fiduciary, client-first decision-making.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Envestnet Tamarac and an RIA, family office, wealth management firm, or institutional investment environment.
- Familiarity with Fidelity Wealthscape, AdvisorEngine CRM, eMoney, YCharts, and Morningstar.
- Knowledge of tax-aware trading, manager research, due diligence, and model portfolio management.
- Progress toward or completion of the CFA, CFP, CIMA, or a similar designation.
