Whitecap Search is seeking a dedicated finance professional in New York to monitor trade lifecycles and optimize processes across operations, technology, and trading desks. This role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration, and a deep understanding of markets.

Responsibilities include maintaining blotters, supporting system enhancements, and coordinating with treasury and lending desks. A fast-paced, detail-driven environment awaits.

Competenze

• 4 years of experience in finance and a passion for financial markets.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, or related field.
• Solid understanding of fixed income, equity, and credit instruments (corporate bonds, loans, CLOs, structured credit, etc).
• Strong communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Time management & multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with strong work ethic and accountability.
• Strong Excel skills; experience with Bloomberg and order management systems preferred.

Mansioni

• Monitor trade lifecycle (allocations, trade bookings) and resolve issues with operations teams or counterparties.
• Help implement and test trading system enhancements, reports, workflows, and controls with technology/reporting teams.
• Maintain and improve blotters and trade alerts.
• Collaborate with securities lending desks and treasury to optimize borrows.
• Serve as liaison between trading desk and operations/compliance teams.
• Handle ad hoc data requests such as historic trade data, position PnL.
• Possibility for early start to support London to New York transition.
