WhiteCap Search seeks a motivated professional to join our client’s Portfolio Management Operations team. The role supports global trading across asset classes, ensuring precise execution and collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

The successful candidate will manage trade processes, monitor workflows, and contribute to process improvements using Excel, Bloomberg Terminal, SQL, and automation ideas in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in investment operations, trading support, or financial markets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Bloomberg Terminal.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end trade process from execution to settlement for various asset classes.
• Monitor and resolve issues related to trading workflows, allocations, bookings, pricing, and settlements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to tackle operational challenges.
• Support daily operations, controls, and end-of-day procedures, including corporate actions and FX activities.
• Oversee and troubleshoot systems across proprietary and third-party trading platforms.
• Investigate trade discrepancies, booking differences, and execution issues, providing analysis and solutions.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Utilize tools like Excel and SQL for data reconciliation and issue investigation.
