Point72 Asset Management, L.P. is seeking a skilled Application Support professional to stabilize front-office applications and support trading workflows.

The role involves Linux and Windows production environments, proactive health monitoring, and collaboration with engineering to improve resiliency and incident readiness. You will automate routine tasks, apply AI approaches to operations, and document procedures while liaising with stakeholders during incidents and changes.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of application support within the financial services industry.
• Hands-on experience supporting Linux environments in production.
• Experience installing, configuring, and supporting Windows-based production apps.
• Strong written and verbal communication; collaborate across tech and business teams.
• Willing to work from New York, NY or Stamford, CT.

Responsibilities

• Support investment professionals and trading teams with stable, responsive front-office applications.
• Install, configure, and maintain Linux- and Windows-based applications for trading workflows.
• Monitor daily application health and perform start-of-day/end-of-day checks.
• Partner with engineering to improve resiliency, supportability, and release readiness.
• Automate routine support tasks and explore AI-enabled incident response approaches.
• Document troubleshooting steps and operational procedures to strengthen knowledge sharing.
• Assist with production incidents from triage through resolution and coordinate across Technology.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders during incidents, changes, and follow-ups.
