Job summary

ERGOS Technology Partners in Houston seeks an experienced IT Engineer to provide advanced helpdesk and on-site systems support for a busy trading environment. You will own complex incidents, administer endpoints, and manage identity and access across Microsoft platforms.

Responsibilities include supporting trading floor workstations, onboarding traders, and maintaining conference/media readiness. Strong Windows, Intune and AD skills are essential, with ITIL/CS-minded practices valued.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
5–6 years hands-on experience across helpdesk, desktop and systems/infrastructure support.
Experience supporting a trading company, commodity/energy trading or financial services is highly preferred.
Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administrator, Azure Administrator, ITIL 4 Foundation, CCNA are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Provide Level 2/3 support for Windows endpoints, Microsoft 365, mobile devices and business apps.
Own high-priority incidents end to end, coordinating internal teams and vendors.
Lead root-cause analysis for recurring incidents and contribute to problem and change management.
Monitor queues and SLAs; improve procedures and mentor junior staff.
Support trading floor tech, multi-screen workstations, market data terminals and trading apps.
Coordinate trader onboarding, desk moves and device refreshes with minimal disruption.
