Job summary

United Global Technologies, Inc. is seeking a senior hands-on DevOps/production engineer to support front-office trading systems in a live trading environment. You will manage production incidents, improve reliability, and work closely with traders and infrastructure teams.

Requirements include 8+ years in commodity trading or capital markets tech, strong FIX protocol engineering, and proficiency in Python/PowerShell/C#/SQL. On-site in Houston with on-call rotation.

Qualifications

8+ years in commodity trading, capital markets tech.
Front-office trading apps and production environments experience.
Strong FIX protocol engineering, exchange connectivity.
Scripting in Python/PowerShell/C#/SQL.
Experience with EMS/OMS platforms.
Willingness to on-call globally.

Responsibilities

Maintain stability and performance of global derivatives trading apps.
Provide rapid incident response for business-critical systems.
Support front-office workflows: order capture, execution, settlement.
Collaborate with traders and infra teams to resolve issues.
Participate in a global on-call rotation.
Improve deployment and monitoring processes.
Troubleshoot market data distribution and connectivity.
