Job summary

Mesa Energy Systems, Inc. is seeking a full-time onsite technician in Los Angeles, CA to perform HVAC maintenance, cleaning, and related mechanical tasks. The role involves filters, belts, cooling tower components, indoor air quality work, and routine upkeep of equipment.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights. PPE usage and neat appearance are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to stand, sit or squat for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, move and carry material up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders and work at extended heights.
• Ability to wear PPE (dust mask, gloves, eye protection and hearing protection).
• Ability to wear a company uniform and maintain a neat personal appearance.

Responsibilities

• Change and service filters, oil & grease bearings and perform belt adjustment and replacement services.
• Cooling tower and condenser maintenance – coils, evaporators and tubes.
• Clean and perform routine maintenance as required.
• Perform indoor air quality related maintenance including cleaning of duct systems and drain pans.
• General housekeeping tasks that are required by the customer to operate mechanical equipment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Change and service filters, oil & grease bearings and perform belt adjustment and replacement services.

• Cooling tower and condenser maintenance – coils, evaporators and tubes

• Clean and perform routine maintenance as required

• Perform indoor air quality related maintenance including but not limited to the cleaning of duct systems and drain pans.

Geographic Disclosure

Compensation Range: $17.30 per hour The hourly rate is determined by the CBA/rate sheet and test results.

Benefits are provided through local labor union aligned with collective bargaining agreement.
