Job summary

Mesa Energy Systems, Inc. is a full-service HVAC and building automation contractor serving Bakersfield and surrounding areas, delivering chiller, retrofit, and energy solutions.

We seek a Licensed Journeyman HVAC Technician with 5+ years of field experience to install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, perform preventative maintenance, and diagnose issues. EPA 608 certification and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field experience as Licensed Journeyman in HVAC.
• Must have an EPA Certification (608) Universal License.
• Commercial experience as a HVAC and Refrigeration Technician.
• Knowledge and experience in the proper use and safe operation of hand tools, equipment, and testing devices necessary to perform all work assignments.
• Participates in the ongoing training available to our crews to keep updated on the newest equipment and latest software for HVAC equipment.
• Strong oral and written communication required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform duties with minimal supervision in isolated areas.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Valid Driver's license and able to maintain a good driving record.

Responsibilities

Geographic Disclosure

Compensation Range: $48.41 - $56.95 per hour The hourly rate is determined by the CBA/rate sheet and test results. Benefits are provided through local labor union aligned with collective bargaining agreement.
