Job summary

EMCOR Services Mesa Energy is seeking a field technician for HVAC maintenance and related services in the Los Angeles area. Responsibilities include installing, inspecting, and maintaining filters, bearings, and belts; performing cooling tower and condenser maintenance; cleaning and routine upkeep; and addressing indoor air quality related tasks in facilities.

The role requires physical mobility and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

We are a full-service HVAC, building automation, chiller, and retrofit contractor with a reputation for combining high-quality consulting services with customized energy solutions. Our integrated, single-source solutions include turnkey in-house capabilities with design assistance, as well as engineering applications and automated control systems.

Mesa

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Change and service filters, oil & grease bearings and perform belt adjustment and replacement services.
• Cooling tower and condenser maintenance – coils, evaporators and tubes
• Clean and perform routine maintenance as required
• Perform indoor air quality related maintenance including but not limited to the cleaning of duct systems and drain pans.
• General housekeeping tasks that are required by the customer to operate mechanical equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Valid Vehicle Operators license
• Ability to stand, sit or squat for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift, move and carry material up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders and work at extended heights.
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). i.e. but not limited to, Dust mask, gloves, eye protection and hearing protection.
• Ability to wear a company uniform and maintain a neat personal appearance

Geographic Disclosure

Compensation Range: $17.30 per hour

The hourly rate is determined by the CBA/rate sheet and test results.

Benefits are provided through local labor union aligned with collective bargaining agreement.
