Job summary

EMCOR Services Mesa Energy is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician in Mesa, CA to install, inspect, maintain, and repair heating and cooling systems. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and read blueprints while following safety procedures.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a Licensed Journeyman HVAC professional, EPA 608 Universal certification, and strong communication skills. A valid driver’s license is required for field service across site locations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field experience as Licensed Journeyman in HVAC.
• Must have an EPA Certification (608) Universal License.
• Commercial experience as a HVAC and Refrigeration Technician.
• Knowledge and experience in the proper use and safe operation of hand tools, equipment, and testing devices necessary to perform all work assignments.
• Participates in the ongoing training available to our crews to keep updated on the newest equipment and latest software for HVAC equipment.
• Strong oral and written communication required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform duties with minimal supervision in isolated areas.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Valid Driver’s license and able to maintain a good driving record.

Compensation Range

$48.41 - $56.95 per hour. The hourly rate is determined by the CBA/rate sheet and test results. Benefits are provided through local labor union aligned with collective bargaining agreement.
