Job summary

EMCOR Services Mesa Energy is seeking a seasoned HVAC journeyman to join our Mesa-based team. You will install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, diagnose faults, and perform preventive maintenance on chillers, refrigeration, heat pumps, and related equipment.

A valid EPA 608 certification and a licensed journeyman status are required. You will read blueprints, follow safety procedures, operate hand tools and testing devices, and communicate clearly with customers and crew.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field experience as Licensed Journeyman in HVAC.
• Must have an EPA Certification (608) Universal License.
• Commercial experience as a HVAC and Refrigeration Technician.
• Knowledge and experience in the proper use and safe operation of hand tools, equipment, and testing devices necessary to perform all work assignments.
• Participates in the ongoing training available to our crews to keep updated on the newest equipment and latest software for HVAC equipment.
• Strong oral and written communication required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform duties with minimal supervision in isolated areas.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Valid Driver’s license and able to maintain a good driving record.

Compensation Range

$48.41 - $56.95 per hour. The hourly rate is determined by the CBA/rate sheet and test results. Benefits are provided through local labor union aligned with collective bargaining agreement.
