Job summary

White Cap is seeking a senior sales leader to expand national trade opportunities in the California region. You will identify opportunities, build relationships with industry stakeholders, and collaborate with field leaders to drive organic growth.

The role requires extensive travel, leadership of cross-functional teams, and strategic planning with regional managers. We offer a hybrid work arrangement and opportunities across Civil/Sitework and related product lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of related field experience; or MS/MA with 8+ years.
• Maintains expert knowledge in area of responsibility with a strong understanding in adjacent areas for the development of creative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and profitability of trade expansion in the region.
• Penetrate new markets and grow the customer base across territory.
• Build relationships with contractors, suppliers, owners, and engineers.
• Coordinate with Marketing for promotional collateral for conferences, trade shows, presentations, and webinars.
• Develop annual business plans with leadership and track progress.
• Collaborate with District Sales Managers and Account Managers to share project information.
• Assist local sales teams with strategies to quote and win projects.
• Present features and value propositions of civil/sitework products in meetings.
• Participate in product training and internal training.
