Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking an International Trade Compliance Analyst II to enhance and monitor our export/import compliance program, focusing on adherence to U.S. and international trade regulations. The role involves preparing complex authorizations and delivering training to internal stakeholders.

In addition to strong regulatory knowledge, the candidate will conduct audits, manage records, and engage with government authorities. A Secret U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in a related field.
• Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• Thorough knowledge of ITAR, EAR, Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR), and other relevant trade regulations.
• Able to effectively and clearly communicate complex regulatory requirements and solutions.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and maintain the company's export/import compliance program.
• Prepare and submit complex export/import authorizations, licenses, and documentation.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive training sessions on trade compliance.
• Conduct detailed audits and risk assessments of compliance practices.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with ITAR, EAR, FTR, and other applicable laws.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address compliance concerns.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate records in line with regulatory requirements.
• Liaise and build relationships with internal customers and government regulatory agencies.
