Job summary

Central Transport is a leading Less-Than-Truckload carrier, serving the United States, Canada, and Mexico, with a growing fleet and nationwide network. We are seeking skilled mechanics to maintain over 2,200 tractors, 8,500 trailers, and 1,700 forklifts across North America.

We offer industry-leading pay starting at $32/hour, comprehensive benefits, company-paid training, and uniforms. ASE certification is preferred but not required; 1 year of experience is encouraged.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience required.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Basic set of tools required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair electrical and after-treatment systems on Class 8 tractors.
• Repair trucks, trailers and related equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and other critical parts.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, battery checks and lubrication.
• Repair and troubleshoot major components including engine, transmission and differentials.
