Job summary

Central Transport LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair electrical and after-treatment systems on Class 8 tractors. You will inspect brakes, steering, wheel bearings, and other critical components to ensure safe operation.

A basic set of tools and at least 1 year of experience are required. ASE certification is preferred but not required; we offer company-paid training, medical/dental benefits, PTO, and paid bereavement/jury leave,

Responsibilities

Responsibilities Include

• Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services such as troubleshooting and repairing electrical and after-treatment systems on our Class 8 tractors.
• Repair trucks, and trailers and related equipment in a timely and efficient manner
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper working condition
• Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery
• Repairing and troubleshooting of major components such as engine, transmission, and differentials

Job Requirements

• 1 year of experience
• Basic set of tools
• ASE certification preferred but not required
