You will troubleshoot issues, follow maintenance processes, and ensure units meet specifications across shifts, including nights and weekends, with potential overtime. The role requires basic tools, DOT/FHWA inspection experience and ability to work outdoors.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include 18+ years with 1–2 years of semi-tractor maintenance experience or equivalent training.
• Ability to work outdoors and across multiple shifts including nights/weekends.
• A/C certification and experience with DOT/FHWA inspections and air brakes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, replace parts, and handle complex repairs on tractors per specs.
• Troubleshoot issues, complete work orders, and adhere to standard repair times and warranty guidelines.
• Mentor trainees and participate in OE repair training programs.
• Maintain safe, professional communication with JB Hunt personnel and customers.
• Follow shop safety procedures and work across varying shifts as needed.
