Job summary

Central Transport LLC is seeking a maintenance technician in Nashville, TN to perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot electrical and after-treatment systems on our Class 8 tractors. You will repair trucks and trailers, inspect critical components, and perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and battery checks.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot electrical and after-treatment systems on Class 8 tractors.
• Repair trucks, trailers and related equipment promptly.
• Inspect brake systems, steering, wheel bearings and critical components.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, battery checks, lubrication.
• Repair and troubleshoot major components like engines, transmissions, differentials.

Responsibilities

• Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services such as troubleshooting and repairing electrical and after-treatment systems on our Class 8 tractors.
• Repair trucks, and trailers and related equipment in a timely and efficient manner
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper working condition
• Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery
• Repairing and troubleshooting of major components such as engine, transmission, and differentials

Requirements

• 1 year of experience
