Central Transport LLC in Detroit, MI is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot electrical and after-treatment systems on Class 8 tractors. The role requires basic tools and about 1 year of hands-on experience; ASE is preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services.
• Repair trucks, trailers and related equipment in a timely manner.
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and other important parts.
• Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment.
• Repairing and troubleshooting major components such as engine, transmission, differentials.
• Responsible for repairing damage to containers, trailers, and chassis.
• Replacing lights and tire repair.
• Landing gear and frame repair; brake and suspension work.

Responsibility Include
