Job summary

TYLin is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer (Traction Power) to lead complex Rail + Transit projects across the United States. You will drive traction power design, TPSS, rectifiers, transformer systems, DC/AC distribution, OCS interfaces, and coordination with civil, track, signals, and utility teams.

Requirements include a BS in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred), a PE license with reciprocity, and 10+ years in traction power/rail electrification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering required; Master's preferred.
• PE license with reciprocity across applicable states.
• 10+ years in traction power/rail electrification design.

Responsibilities

• Lead traction power system design including TPSS, rectifiers, transformers, DC/AC distribution.
• Oversee studies: load flow, short-circuit, voltage drop, harmonics, coordination.
• Coordinate with civil, track, signals and utility partners.
• Serve as Engineer of Record where applicable.
• Support construction: RFIs, submittals and inspections.
