A leading entertainment company is seeking a Track Laborer to maintain racetrack surfaces and equipment. The role involves operating machinery, performing repairs, and ensuring a safe environment for guests. Candidates should have a positive attitude and basic math skills. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with the ability to obtain an Indiana Horse Racing License.
The Track Laborer is responsible for maintaining and repairing the racetrack surfaces and physical structures within the organization by performing the following duties:

Must have an outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude. Comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment for guests. High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and understand simple instructions, memos, and short correspondence. Ability to write simple correspondence. Effective in presenting information in one-on-one and small group settings to clients, customers, and colleagues. Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and interpret bar graphs. Apply common sense understanding to follow detailed but straightforward written or oral instructions. Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Must be able to obtain an Indiana Horse Racing License.

Must meet physical requirements to perform essential functions, including frequent standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching, climbing steps, and sitting. Able to lift up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for individuals with disabilities.
Work in a smoking environment at Horseshoe Indianapolis. Capable of working in a busy, noisy, and fast-paced setting with many people.
