Job summary

Genesee & Wyoming Inc. is seeking a Foreman to lead the Maintenance-of-Way crew in Albany, OR, ensuring track infrastructure safety and reliability while overseeing daily activities and problem-solving on the job site.

You will coordinate with other teams, enforce safety rules, and help manage project costs. The role requires strong leadership, field experience, and a commitment to safety and excellence.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CDL is a plus or willingness to obtain.
• RWP and EIC certification is a plus.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage MoW crews in maintenance and repair projects, including performing work alongside the crew.
• Coordinate with other teams to ensure organized and efficient railroad operations.
• Enforce safety procedures and maintain accurate compliance records.
• Monitor and control maintenance costs to stay within budget.
• Support MoW department in meeting track, signal, and capital-project service goals.
